When I started a family, leading a healthy lifestyle became a very important aspect of our lives. Setting an example and staying healthy is a great motivator, it lead me to start seeing how I can infleuence others too and that is when I decided to make it a career. I took my first fitness certification as a Fitness Instructor. I became so passionate about the industry, in 2 years I became a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition and Wellness coach through Can Fit pro, along with extensive Group Fitness certifications in the Mossa Programs (Group Power, Ride, Active, R30, Core, Kick, Centergy and Blast).
Over the last 9 years I have dedicated my life to helping clients enhance their health and longevity through applied fitness management, passion and motivation. I have built my career accommodating all special populations such as youths, seniors, the physically challenged, pregnant and postpartum women, larger individuals and the sedentary to athletic clientele. The ultimate goal for me is too inspire and be a positive influence by helping people achieve their goals that they never thought would be possible
through fitness and nutrition. I am very excited to bring the first
Orange Theory Fitness studio to Regina and I know that once participants experience a workout like no other; they will achieve, reach and inspire themselves to a healthier being!

About Me:
Originally born and raised in Melville, SK, I have always been an advocate of living an active life. Growing up I played as many sports possible, including hockey, baseball, volleyball, and golf. And after spending multiple summers living in the Canadian Rockies, I discovered a passion for being active in the outdoors. It has shaped the life I live today. I am an avid (trail) runner, mountain biker, and adventure junkie.
Aside from working as a High School teacher, I officiate elite levels of hockey throughout Western Canada, and as a level VI official, I have worked many championships at the provincial, national and international levels.
My experience and training with hockey, paired with my physical education background and fitness certifications, has allowed me to continue to coach athletes in power-skating and dry-land conditioning camps as well.

What to expect:

Hometown: Cranbrook BC
Fav food: Italian
Hobbies: Volleyball, Snowboarding, Outdoor Activities

Orange Theory Fitness classes are an amazing new aspect to the fitness industry which offers a new perspective to integrating exercise into peoples lifestyle in an effective way.

I was born in Regina SK but moved to Cranbrook,BC where I was raised. BC mountains became my comfort zone where I learned a true interest in outdoor activities such as snowboarding, wakeboarding, biking and hiking in all terrain. Besides outdoor activities, sports have been the main love in my life. I started as a provincial ranked figure skater and finished with playing Volleyball for the College of the Rockies where I received MVP and Provincial awards for my sport and acquired CSEP certified personal trainer certificate. I later returned to my roots to finish my Bachelors of Kinesiology at the University of Regina. With a competitive attitude, I strive to excel at any sport and exercise, which in hopes to bring forth my experiences to OTF to push individuals to be successful with their program.

From the East Coast to the Prairies, sports and fitness have always
been not only a priority but an essential component of my life. Growing up, I participated in any and all sports that my small town offered.
Hockey became my passion and love of my life, providing me with many
unique experiences and opportunities. I participated in both Nova Scotia’s U15 and U18 provincial teams, as well as the under 22 Team
Atlantic. I was able to continue my passion for hockey while pursuing a
University degree at St FX University. Although training and practicing were essential to our teams success at the CIS level, academics were also high priority, and I completed a BSC of Kinesiology/Human Kinetics
with a Minor in Health Sciences. Through this degree, I transferred my passion from the ice towards helping others reach their potential in both fitness and healthy lifestyles. Participating in children’s
programs and research that aimed towards finding alternative ways to
promote activity and health for children as young as 18month. I also
took every opportunity I had to enrol in courses aimed at
Strength/Condition, Fitness Appraisal or Training, where I found a love
for both the science and success. I am now currently enrolled in my
second degree, a BSc. Nursing at the University of Regina, where I hope
to eventually continue my studies at the Masters level and obtain Nurse
Practioners. Orange Theory has not only empowered me as an individual,
but it has pushed me beyond what I thought were my limits and has helped me move towards achieving many of my own goals. More so, OTF has allowed me to find a second family in Regina, from employees to members. OTF is more than just a gym, it is a home and an opportunity to make both myself and our clients both healthier and stronger.
Personal Trainer Certification (Can-Fit-Pro) & Group Fitness Certification (Can-Fit-Pro) Nutrition, Diet and Health Diploma.

It didn't take long after getting my Office Ed degree to realize my personal career passions were not found behind a desk. I have always been an active person; playing sports in school, track, snowboarding, riding horses at home on the ranch and now chasing my two little girls. My love of pushing my body's limits, being healthy and strong, being with people, and challenging them came alive when I started training...and I was hooked! My passion to see bodies transform, mental barriers shattered and people succeeding in their fitness journey is why I love doing what I do. At Orangetheory, I get to know and join in SO many of your personal progress stories which energizes and pushes me daily!

Bonus Features- I love popcorn and pretzels with hummus. I will always dance to a good beat AND I care for you all more than you know...even when you make ME do burpees.

"Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life" is a quote
that can best describe what it feels like coming in to train at
OrangeTheory. Two of my biggest passions are to help others and health
and fitness. OrangeTheory allows me to combine those passions towards
helping clients to reach their goals and improve their quality of life.
There is no greater feeling than seeing the clients succeed and on those
tough days giving them that extra push and motivation to keep going!

My hometown is Saltcoats, Sk. where I grew up on a farm and played a
variety of sports. Now I primarily spend my time staying active with
outdoor running, outdoor sports, and OrangeTheory workouts! I came to
Regina to pursue a degree at the University of Regina in Kinesiology and
will be convocating October 18, 2016. Along with my degree I am also a
Certified Personal Trainer. I have experience in personal training,
POPAT/PARE training, and Zumba classes. The beauty of OrangeTheory is
you get the atmosphere and fun environment of group training with the
personal touches that come with one-on-one training. Most of all
OrangeTheory becomes your friends and family on this fitness journey
that we take.

Born and raised in Regina, SK, sports have always been a large part of my life. Throughout high school, I played on the basketball, softball, track and volleyball teams. I have played on the U15 and U17 Basketball Saskatchewan Provincial Teams, as well as Softball Saskatchewan Provincial Teams. I have also participated in the Team Canada Basketball Development Camp. Throughout my career, I have suffered from major knee injuries, which got me very interested in rehabilitation and recovery. I am currently in the Kinesiology and Health Studies Faculty at the University of Regina, and hope to pursue a career in physical therapy. I also play on the Cougar Women's Basketball Team. Due to my competitive attitude, OTF is a great place for me to push myself, and others, to become faster, stronger and healthier!
